On my trip to the UK in May

I interrupt your regularly scheduled scrolling in recognition of all the ๐ŸŒบcherries popped on this trip:

With the deepest of gratitude for these firsts:

๐Ÿ’ Passport

๐Ÿ’ International trip over the water

๐Ÿ’Driving on the right side of the carโ€ฆ right side on the streetโ€ฆ.(in a stickshift that I thankfully know how to drive)

๐Ÿ’Top of a double-decker bus

๐Ÿ’Rode the Tube (and Minded the Gap)

๐Ÿ’Live, in-person, run (race) that wasnโ€™t for martial arts

๐Ÿ’Met a friend Iโ€™ve only known online for 3 years (and she is awe-mazing)!

๐Ÿ’Threw up in an Uber (airsick)

๐Ÿ’ Took me around a city. Alone. By myself

๐Ÿ’Rode horse in the UK! On what used to be a king’s private road!

๐Ÿ’Had males half my age flirt with me (apparently, age isnโ€™t a thing here)

๐Ÿ’ walked by Madonnaโ€™s House (had no idea at the time. Which is how I roll)

๐Ÿ’ Booked an Uber for over 2 hours on a drive

๐Ÿ’Looked up places to randomly go and went (folks Iโ€™m a stay at home person. This is big)

๐Ÿ’Had lessons with the horse whisperer (she sends them to the Olympics) because I left PA

Mmmmmโ€ฆ.. these pops have been intense (some more than others) and self-sabotage has almost taken me out (in the form of a sick body).

But this cherry pie making has the best support system and ladies in The Rebel Vortex with Mindy Sartin.

So so much gratitude for every single moment.

Thank you. Thank you.

Iโ€™ll keep this
